Tracy received a liver transplant on August 16, 1996, his donor was a first responder that was struck by a car. Tracy has thrived since his transplant and often shares his story of hope with passion and a strong desire to bless others in our community with the gift of life he’s been given. Mr. Taliaferro has had a very successful law practice, returned to the Fire/EMS field where he served as Executive Officer, Legal Advisor, and Trustee; and volunteers by empowering abused children with Bikers Against Child Abuse. He was also a long time volunteer with Crater Community Hospice where he now serves as Chief Executive Officer.
“Every morning I wake up and remember how blessed I am to live during a time where organ transplantation is not only possible but almost routine. I also remember that for me to live another passed and to him and his family I am forever indebted.”
